Peer Review Policy

All research articles published in this journal undergo double-blind peer review. Neither the authors nor the reviewers are aware of each other's identities during the review process.

Minimum standards

  • At least two independent reviewers per manuscript
  • Reviewers selected for relevant expertise and absence of conflict of interest
  • Review period: 21 days
  • Target median time to first decision: 35 days from submission
  • Authors given structured feedback regardless of outcome

Process

  1. Editorial screening for scope, completeness, and basic quality (typically 5 business days)
  2. Assignment to an Associate Editor with relevant expertise
  3. Invitation of at least two independent reviewers
  4. Review period of 21 days
  5. Editorial decision: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject
  6. Revision period: 30 days (minor) or 60 days (major)
  7. Re-evaluation of revised manuscripts; accepted papers proceed to production (target: 14 days to publication)

Editorial staff do not conduct peer review of their own manuscripts; such submissions are handled by independent editors. The journal does not guarantee acceptance to any author, regardless of reputation, affiliation, or funding.
